African Renewal Ministries (ARM) is an International Organization dedicated to serving the poor and oppressed in Africa through planting churches, schools, universities, oprhanages and medical clinics.

Africa Renewal Ministries (ARM) was founded in 1990 with a vision to develop "the next generation of Christian for Africa". What began as a house church of 15 members has expanded to a congregation of 1,500 lead by Pastor Peter Kasirivu. ARM focuses on spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through planting churches and starting and supporting schools, orphanages and medical clinics. 

 

Providing pastoral training has long been an emphasis for ARM. Each year ARM hosts an International Pastors Conference for over 1,000 participants each year. In 2006 ARM began mobile pastoral training program with 200 pastors in Soroti, Gulu, Rakai and Rukungiri. Through these conferences and training ARM recognized a need for further training for the pastors in East Africa.

 

In 2007 ARM opened Gaba Bible Institute with a vision to train Christian leaders in the church and Christian ministries throughout East Africa. Today the partnership continues as Africa Renewal Universtiy trains pastors and Christian leaders for ARM church plants and ministries throughout Uganda.
